I never really had a problem in selling jobs.

Getting jobs in was my big problem.

A big piece of false data I had to overcome was not to quote prices over the phone. How can you not quote over the phone? I couldn't understand that.

The first day my Service Writer came back from the Service Writer School, he got one guy in without quoting a price over the phone. He probably paid for half of his Service Writer School right there with that one sale he got.

I tried and couldn't get a customer to come in so I turned this guy over to my Service Writer and he got him to come in. I thought I was pretty close to having a handle, but found that I was not even close. It was not the sales part but the communication part of it.

Since my Service Writer attended the Service Writer School, I think there is better communication happening between customers and the front counter. More awareness as to whether the customer was being taken care of or if there was an upset.

My Service Writer always keeps the affinity high and the communication high-toned. The communication course and the things you learn in this workshop are invaluable tools.

I say if you want to have better customer relationships and increasing sales, you have to do the Service Writer School.
